Is hiring a business or entrepreneur coach worth the investment?
In short, yes. From my personal experience and my client’s experiences, it makes a big difference in their business and their lives.
Being an entrepreneur can be lonely and you can’t just talk to anyone about your business (and get good guidance).
It’s like venting to your friend about life versus talking to a therapist or talking to your friend about the noise your car makes versus going to the mechanic. You don’t get the same results from those conversations.
But here is the thing, you want to hire the right coach.
I have heard a lot of stories of people hiring coaches that did not benefit them. I have had amazing luck with the coaches I have worked with. I’ve put together a video on my process for deciding which coach to work with. Click here to watch the full video.
Is it worth it to hire a coach?
Do coaches make a difference?
Whether you are starting a business, have had a business for a few years, or have grown it to have multiple team members, a coach is there to motivate you, hold you accountable, support your and call you out on your bullshit.
It is the difference maker between making a move today and waiting 3 months to do it finally.
A coach can offer fresh perspectives and see the gaps in your business that are keeping you at your current level. They can help you create or refine your business plan, develop effective strategies, and avoid common mistakes — because they’ve been there and done that. They can share their own experience and lessons to help you get to your desired goals quicker without having to learn the possible setbacks on your own.
They are your support and accountability partner. The two things you need to keep moving forward and building a business the way you desire.
Almost all my coaching clients made the investment back while still in the program (within three months of hiring me as their business coach).
In numerous studies and surveys, it has been found that businesses and individuals who hire coaches have had significant improvements in areas such as goal setting, decision-making, and performance.
